Colin says "I did a mix on my computer......of some of the tracks we've released over the last little while - OOOD, Voice of Cod and Unconscious Collective....It's like old stuff and new stuff all mixed together, with hopefully some sort of journey in there. Enjoy!"
Colin OOOD is currently based in Bristol, UK and has been DJ-ing and making psytrance since 1994. As a DJ, Colin generally only plays his own material, and with 11 years worth of tracks in many styles with many collaborators - including around 20 written in the past two years alone - he has the back-catalogue and versatility to play at any time of day or night.
The mix featured on Zia-Trance is a retrospective of Colin's musical collaborations over the past several years.

OOOD / Unconscious Collective:
OOOD have been releasing their unique brand of psytrance since 1994, with their side project Unconscious Collective releasing Flying Rhino's biggest-selling 12", 'Fluorostani Transcendance' in 1996. Both acts are now combined into OOOD – an awesome, dancefloor-filling trance monster with Unconscious Collective remaining as a focus for the more eclectic, often chilled-out but always inventive non-dancefloor output of the group. With up to 6 people on stage and live musicianship of all kinds very much in evidence in both OOOD and Unconscious Collective, they have performed all over the world from New York to Japan via South Africa, Israel, Switzerland and of course the UK. OOOD are due to release their third album on Organic Records later in 2006.

Voice of Cod:
Voice of Cod is a collaboration between Colin Bennun and Andrew Humphries who started making music together after meeting at a party in London. Imagine dancefloor shredding psytrance, with a bouncy feel and uplifting vibe. VOC have been in the studio recently and played the main stage at the GLADE Festival in the UK on July 15 and the Wickerman Festival in Scotland this past weekend. Earlier this year, they performed live in New York City for the first time at 'Organic Sunrise', an event put on by 28th Day Productions. Voice of Cod is also featured on a music pack for the PSP for the game ''Wipeout Pure'. "We Are Free", the debut album from VOC was released in October of 2005 and is still for sale in shops. You can purchase it online on the Organic Records site, or digitally on their digishop.
