In collaboration with the Chilluminati and Psymbolic, Zia-Trance is honored to host a preview presentation of some of the artists and performers at their upcoming event:
Sacred Earth Open Air Festival
May 26-29, 2006 (Memorial Day weekend)
near Black River Falls, Wisconsin
Airing exclusive tracks by Onnomon and DJ sets by Toki, DNA / Dan Efex, and PsiloPsyBen…
Onnomon - Soular Records - Philadelphia, PA
Onnomon's music is complex and highly structured with intricate levels of communication and emotion. The tracks progress much like a stream of consciousness in that there are many changes within each track creating a seamless flow. This metamorphosing quality leads to an unpredictable psychedelic journey of spirituality and awakening.
Toki - Madison, WI
DJ Toki produces a mix with a progression of tempo and feeling, fulfilling the mission and purpose of the Sacred Earth Festival. It begins with a blend of downtempo and chillout that builds into faster psytrance. It's a playful and soulful shamanistic voyage.
DNA - Dan Efex - Chicago, IL
Legendary psytrance pioneer Dan Efex once again captures the illusion and suspense of the psychedelic journey. Its yet another example of his ability to create mixes that are unique even when compared to his past examples. This breadth of scope inevitably leads to a sense of freshness and stamina that is invigorating and captivating.
PsiloPsyBen - Madison, WI
On the darker side of the genre, PsiloPsyBen creates a mix that harnesses the power of the night. It's a release of spirit and emotion into a blissful state of awareness and passion. This raw energy is vented through conduits of human flesh and essence.
The event airs everyday from 1 PM – 5:30 PM EST, and again for the rewind from 1 AM – 5:30 AM EST.
