I produce miself some psychedelic music with FL Studio. You can cownload some tracks at http://music.download.com/gateofthetrance, (that is my home page), so you can see that Fl Studio contains all tools to produce any sound used by Goa producers. If you are a registered user of FL, go to the FL Home page/forum, there you can download some presets very useful to begin modeling sounds. I will send you soon by E-mail one or to files to show you examples to learn, but you must experiment yourself: take the TS 404 Bass line or a 3 osc bass preset and add some delay (3 notes), fill a patern each 4 steps, then try with the settings box: play with lfo, cut, resonnance, slide,..etc. It takes a couple of years to understand everything, especialy if you never had a real analog synth in your hands. hope this answer will help you.
