Gabriel Le Mar is out with his fifth album! He is also known for other projects, such as Dub Connected, Saafi Brothers Aural Float etc. He has mostly released music on Spirit Zone Records, but this time he releases on C.O.R.N. Records, which is the same label as Entheogenic released their wonderful second album last year. This time, he has also collaborated with another artist called Cylancer.

The first track is a melodic, dubby track. Quite relaxed, with dubby bass and beautiful chilled melodies. There are also some relaxed guitar sounds in there. Nice start on the album and a bit different sound than usual from Gab. Track 2 starts with some guitar too. This one goes even deeper into the dub sound. Gabs typical rough, dubby beats together with a very nice guitar melody. Sort of jazzy vibes mixed with dub. We also get some Indian vocals now and then. Nice one. Track 3 starts with some beautiful female vocals welcoming us to dreamland. This is a very organic track, with the vocals following the track through, guitar etc. We also get some relaxed beats and nice, electronic melodies. Track 4 is one of my favourite tracks on this album. This one goes a more electronic direction, still very relaxed, with playful beats and light melodies. Quite jazzy, relaxed vibe, perfect for home listening or at a chilled café. Track 5 has a more floating vibe. Beautiful sounds drifting together with a twisted voice and a down tempo beat. The bass is quite rough as usual from this guy. This one is almost danceable too, with a very happy vibe. Track 6 is another favourite on this album. Incredibly beautiful, with tons of wonderful sounds and dubby, down tempo rhythms. There are also some cool Indian melodies in there. A wonderful track, actually one of the best tracks I have heard by Gab!
After the dreamy down tempo track, we jump over in more electro inspired beats in track seven. This is actually a track lasting for only about a minute. Cool sounds and breaks. Track 8 is a very dreamy track all the way through, with floating vibes drifting. Quite mystic vibe too. Track 9 has a much more dramatic vibe. Sort of electro sound, but with dubby beats. We get a quite intense, electronic melody in there too. This one reminds me a bit of more old school, experimental ambient etc. Track 10 is another dreamy track, with sort of tribal, relaxed drums and a beautiful melody drifting through. Perfect for chilling out. Track 11 is a nice ambient track going more experimental. Very mystic, experimental sounding track reminding me a lot of old Warp releases such as Autechre etc. Nice and different from Gabriel Le Mar. The last track we get on this album is very beautiful. It starts totally soft, with a chilled floating sound. I think this track has some sort of romantic vibe, which should fit perfect for chilling out with your boy/girlfriend. Totally relaxed all the way through, with pure, relaxing sounds and melodies chilling you out. Very nice finish of this album.
Gabriel Le Mar delivers quality as always. This time we get a little bit more organic sound than usual, more chilled tracks and great variation. Definitely one of the best albums done by Gab so far. Recommended!
