Texas Faggott from Finland is out with a new EP on Exogenic Records...

After three albums, the crazy duo Texas Faggott (Tim Thick and Pentti Slayer) from Finland is out with a new 12” EP on the Finnish label Exogenic Records. These guys are known for going a different direction than most other artists in the psytrance scene, just like a lot of other artists from Finland.

On the A side we get a track that will fit right into a “horror trance” dj set, full of scary vibes and totally weird sounds. You get strong, pushing beats, with a ton of twisted, highly psychedelic sounds, swirling around together with scary melodies. Sounds really nice in my ears. Scary and crazy without becoming too noisy, which sounds great! Good track.
On the B side, we first get another scary track. It starts with floating, mystic sounds, before the weird and twisted sounds starts jumping. Then the hard, strong rhythms start pushing in a fast tempo. Massive sounds and variation all the way. As psychedelic as it can get. Nice one. The last track has break beats mixed in with the strong bass line. Dark, heavy almost industrial trance. For sure different from every other full on release these days. Crazy horror trance all the way through.
This EP is a little taste of their forthcoming album Pilluminati Cunt-Roll, being released later this year. Recommended for those of you who want something different than the usual stuff these days.
