Visual Paradox from Israel is out with their second album...

Com.Pact Records in Israel keeps pushing out groovy psychedelic trance. Now they are out with the second album by the Israeli duo Visual Paradox (Gaddy Marian and Uriel Ginsburg). In this album they have also collaborated with a few other artists. The cover art is one of the more kinky I have in my psytrance collection. Maybe they are focusing on a more clubby audience?

Visual Paradox "All You Can Beat" Com.Pact Records 2004 (2295-2)

1. Dance Of The Freaky Circles
2. Wicked Way
3. Discovering
4. All You Can Beat
5. Paradoxiel
6. Where The Fuck Are You (Ambient)
7. Thunder (Rmx)
8. Space Spin (Visual Paradox Rmx)
9. Setherian In Paradox

The first track starts pretty funny, with laughter and the sound of a sheep or something. Then the groovy beats starts rolling, with a few melodic morning sounds mixed in. Very typical Com.Pact style. Track 2 starts with a bit more simple beat, but builds up after a while, and floating sounds sneaks in. They have made this track together with Lish. Track 3 is a more melodic, fast going track. Somewhere between progressive and full on trance. In track 4, they have collaborated with Bishop. This track sounds a bit more clubby, with melodic breaks, a few voice samples etc. Track 5 starts with a voice sample, before some heavy, groovy rhythms start rolling. This track sounds more massive and full on, with some really weird melodies and voice samples. One of the better tracks on this album.

Track 6 give us a break, with chilled down tempo beats, jazzy vibes and beautiful sounds. Pretty nice, varied chill out track. After a while you also get some up beat rhythms. Track 7 is a track they have done together with Perplex (Ronen Dahan), and then remixed again by Visual Paradox themselves. This track is a bit more full on style, more varied and dark. Track 8 is originally made by Uriel (Uriel Ginsburg) by himself, but then remixed by Visual Paradox. This track is the darkest and most heavy track on this album. Very, hard, stumping track. The last track on this album is made together with Setherian. This is a very groovy track, going in a funky progressive way.

This album is perfect for those of you who like the new Israeli wave, other Com.Pact releases or the usual Alien Project style. This sounds a bit more clubby than the usual Israeli stuff, but doesn’t become too fluffy.
