Dj Bog has compiled a new compilation for Com.Pact Records in Israel...
|
Com.pact Records in Israel is out with another compilation after the groovy Made To Measure compilation released earlier this year. This time, dj Bog (Visual Paradox) has compiled it.
Air Gate (Com.pact Records 2003) 2262-2
1. Native Radio – Neuromancer (Visual Paradox Rmx)
2. Ultravoice – Noise
3. Silence Hill – Inside My Head
4. Lish – Brain Rush
5. Pixel – Stereo Flip
6. Sesto Sento – Sabastel Tunnels (Lish Rmx)
7. Silent Sphere – Confuse (Late Morning Mix)
8. Atomic Pulse – Fire Ball
9. Star-X – Ocean View
First out is a nice floating morning trance track by Native Radio, remixed by dj Bog himself with his project called Visual Paradox. Nice groovy bass line all the way, with floating melodic sounds above. Track 2 is by Ultravoice (A. Levi) who released his debut album on Com.pact Records this spring, called Magic sound Factory. The track we get here is not on the album. This sounds a bit like Alien Project, with some pleasant melodic sounds for the morning, a rolling heavy bass line and a few darker psychedelic sounds jumping in and out of the track. Then we get a track by someone called Silence Hill (E. Pinto & L. Kopeikin). They are obviously fans of the Infected Mushroom style. They start the track with some piano playing, before some typical infected rhythms starts banging. Reminds me a bit of the Classical Mushroom album. Lish (L. Maomon & S. Taib) is a bit more known name for most psytrancers out there. They give us track 4, but remixed by someone called Ferbi Boys. They make it rough and drifting with a lot of noisy sounds. Pretty dark and scary.
Then we get an interesting track by Pixel. It starts pretty experimental with some strange sounds and a bit of some Spanish guitar or something like that. Some very rolling rhythms comes in, and things become pretty full on. Sesto Sento has had a couple of releases on Com.pact already. Here we get another track by them, remixed by Lish. this is pretty progressive in a heavy way. Building up slowly, with groovy dark rhythms for the night. Track 7 is a really beautiful track by someone called Silent Sphere. Here you get deep groovy rhythms with a pleasant choir in between. Nice one. Atomic Pulse is getting pretty popular in the trance scene these days. Here we get a track from them licensed from Spectrum Records. As usual you get a dark, groovy pretty full on track. Not my cup of tea, but it will for sure do it for some. Star X is also a known name on Com.pact records. Dj Bog has placed one of their tracks as a finish on this compilation. We get some voice samples, a nice up building and pleasant melodies.
As usual from Com.pact, you get a cd full of groovy floor stumpers for the night and sunrise. Pure, modern Israeli style all the way, by known and upcoming artists.

A bit more info about our artists and collaborators:
1. Ferby Boys are a side project of Sesto Sento, directing at more technoish line of trance.
2. Silent Sphere releases mainly on Medijum records (previousely Medium). This track is a remix to a track that was released on DJ BIM's "Electric" compilation.
3. Star X album will be released in the begining on next month (sept').
enjoy your music!
