"S.U.N. PROJECT - "THE REMIXES"
CD / Triple Vinyl
EFA Nr.: 52092-1/-2 SZ 092
The greatest S.U.N. Project hits exclusively remixed by Spirit Zone
artists.
Hot new mixes by Etnica, Necton, Electric Universe, Space Tribe and
Spirallianz give this remix volume a truely global scope -revealing the
S.U.N. project classics in a state-of-the-moment style - as interpreted
by artists from Gothenburg to Byron Bay.
The slow grooving guitar funk in "Frisco Machine" is re-vibed by the
Spirallianz tech-trance duo, as well as S.U.N. Project's own Mc Coy
remix. Other remixes by S.U.N. Project artists are Marco Menichelli's
"The Subburbs" and "The Saw" by S.U.N.Project. Necton give a "Slap" a
swedish treatment: raw, dirty and mean - its one to look out for.
"Spacedwarfs" gets a comsic revamp from Space Tribe, warp factor
inclusive. "Spaceships and Spacepeople", the fastest S.U.N. Project tune
ever, gets a final flight check by Electric Universe before diving into
our orbits. Etnica land an accomplished remix with "Tribulous", moving
morning trance of the extra class.
Spirallianz - "Motorman" 12"
EFA Nr.: 52095-6 SZ 095
The fearless tech-trance Spirallianz reinforce their pole position at
the forefront of ruling beats. Two warped tracks marking the duo's
evolving potential in a league still held on their own. New concepts are
flowing into the productions, like spine chilling vox themes and mutated
noises. Tapping deeper into Spirallianz's potential the sound is
progressing in terms of variety and quality.
A- Motorman)
With trademark pounding beats the Spirallianz are back in business.
Stabs of synths dispersed on the varying patchwork of staccato hooks and
doubled drum sounds bring this creation to life. Awakening with every
new line, this anthemic floor burner guarantees lasting spinal chills.
B- Patchfinder)
Gradually ascending like the flight of an andes-condor, this track takes
off in steady determination. Filtered hihats add to the shuffled
tension, ultimately peaking in a deep and moody vox theme. Diverstiy in
a linear sense, the breaks kick in at the exactly right moment,
confidently building up time after time.
OOZE - "Where the fields never ends"
CD
EFA Nr.: 52096-2 SZ 096
When diversity reaches unparalled heights, evolution will most likely
quantum leap into new dimensions. Be it an invitation to a place "Where
the Fields never End" ...
Coming from such a dimension, the new ambient and downbeat project
"Ooze" is a showcase of recent musical efforts by Sebastian Mullaert
from Malmö/ mSweden.
Presenting his first full length album, "Where the Fields never End" is
an illustrious collection of relaxed, dubby, and psychedelically
enhanced ambient excursions. With a consistently mellow touch, the album
invites the tiresome mind for a magical journey of modern beats.
As a member of the prominent percussion orientated swedish act "Son
Kite", Sebastian Mullaert has crafted the deepest grooves into his
downbeat and ambient oriented beats. Surprising with funkadelic riffs
and jazzy breaks this music 'oozes' into the ear, calming neural
receptors and soothing the soul.
Lending part of its character from lounge, trip hop and dance hall
styles, "Where the fields never End" is a seamless incorporation of them
all. Familiar to all who have been in contact with these popular
electronic styles, the album is beckoning to indulge in the ultimate
ambient experience.
DJ AXEL - "Wach auf" 12"
EFA Nr.: 52097-6 SZ 097
For anyone not so firm on the who-is-who of global trance, a brief
introduction: he is a key figure in the development of the trance scene
from Day 1. This man's dj sets are legendary - beginning in the early
era of the first trance gatherings somewhere in a place we known as
"Goa". We are talking about none other than DJ Axel.
A career as colourful as DJ Axel's, spanning just about every facet in
electronic four to the floor evolution, obligatorily includes a wide
scope of influences. This debut appearance as producer gives all us
lesser mortals a techno oriented taste of DJ Axel's musical ideas. Those
who have heard Axel playing as a DJ, will know how he excels at bringing
the best of everything into one seamless set. Be sure to expect more
diversity from this promising artist!
A1 - Wach Auf)
wake up - invites dj's and punters alike to make friends with Axel's new
solo project. Tight and dry technoid rhythms rule the scene in this
chapter, gaining speed like a german motor engine, fx snares, shuffled
hihats and unusual congas drive innocent passengers into insanity. A
well selected theme of acid-grooves gives this track its finish, marking
Axel roots as a trancer and psy-genious.
B1 - Made in Israel)
a track which will stirr up your techno roots like no other. A warm
basseline leads to assume elsewise, just when an element of surpirse
metamorphs the base into a funked up, flared out freak show - fun
guaranteed. Energetically getting to work, this track is a
collaboration with Israeli friend Data. A track that deserves its
branding "Made in Israel" - surprised?
Global Psychedelic Trance Vol.7
DO-CD
EFA Nr.: 52098-2 SZ 098
Now in its seventh series, this Global Psychedelic Trance compilation
gathers some of the hottest tracks by signed artists and new appearances
alike:
Ranging from progessive trance to melodic psy-trance, the highly
acclaimed trance-compendium is not complete without its popular ambient
disk. State of the art chillout beats, round off the truely global
perspective on the trance scene's moves and grooves.
With some of the best Spirit Zone releases of the year, Space Fish
('Voices'), The Zorba ('Zen Garden'), Etnica ('I am the shadow of
myself') and Fünf D ('Alles wir gut') feature these established artists
in top form. Each of these tracks is a knockout floor-burner no less.
The previously unrelased 'Still ill' by Noosphere updates the followers
of this special sub-genre with new patches&programms from the north
German beat brigade. German act Alegria signal more action this year,
after their tracks spread like wild-fire across the dancefloors last
summer. And the track 'Summer Jam' should set the tone for another
season of sunshine and percussive blasts.
Recently signed Swedish act Matenda's 'Mission Impoosible' and Necton's
'Bong Raiders' supply the scandinavian sound on this compilation, and it
rocks. Both acts produce some of the most promising progressive sound
around today.
Disk 2 is once again a comprehensive collection of modern chillout
beats. An effortless mix of some delicately emotional and dubbadelical
tunes, invite to sit-in, lounge-out or day dream. The 'line-up' of
artists is a mix of known label icons such as Electric Universe and
Space Tribe and also features alternative lounge and electro styles by
Blake C, Kick-Bong and UZ.
