I have never heard about any of these Finish artists before, and the track titles is written in Finish, which I don’t understand a word of, but who cares! The first track starts with some heavy guitar sounds, before we get thrown into a psychedelic madness of sounds and beats. I think Finland is the country that releases most weird and twisted releases in the world. Just take a look at releases on Exogenic Records etc. This track has mostly dark sounds all the way. Track 2 sounds a bit more melodic, still with tons of weird sounds etc. Reminds me a bit of releases on Elektrik Orgasm Records and Alienated, Orichalcum etc. Track 3 has some orchestra flourish, several times in the track, especially in the beginning of the track. The rest goes weird and twisted like the other tracks on this compilation. I think they could have dropped the flourish…
Track 4 has some sounds that remind me of older Koxbox sounds. The rhythms are stumpy and we get some dark guitar sounds in there too. Noisy, dark trance. Track 5 is totally weird, but not as noisy. Some of the weirdest sounds you can imagine. Funny, but maybe not good music quality…? Track 6 is one of the most psychedelic tracks on this compilation. Cool melodies and a better flow. Best track on this compilation in my ears. Track 7 is some kind of gabba goa trance. Sound pretty simple to me. Weird as hell, with fast rhythms and noisy sounds and melodies. Track 8 goes the same direction, but slightly better. Some of it sounds like an old pc game or something. The last track on this compilation sounds more like an old school goa trance track with some crazy melodies. Pretty cool track actually, with a beautiful finish.
Some of these tracks sound too weird to me, but if you are into weird Finish psytrance music, you should definitely check out this compilation.
