The Los Angeles based label Kagdila Records is out with their first artist album by Droidlock. Droidlock are two guys (Damien Vergnaud and dj Pea), also known for their techno trance project Snug As A Bug. On this album they have collaborated with a few great artists.

First out is an intro track with some voice samples, scary melody and slow rhythms. Pretty cool chilled track. Track 2 is a heavy stumper. With drifting techno trance rhythms, dark floating sounds and some cool psychedelic sounds now and then. Track 3 has some weird samples in the beginning. This one is even more techno influenced. They have made this track together with Paps. Not a fast track, with pleasant rhythms, a few samples and some small psychedelic sounds. Track 4 is the most melodic track on this album. Really cool drifting rhythms and a great goa melodies. One of my favourite tracks on this album. Great track! Track 5 is a collaboration with Joti Sidhu, most known as Psychaos! A heavy pushing track with techno influences. Little melodies, but a lot of pushing rhythms.
Track 6 is also an interesting collaboration, this time with Dino Psaras, most known as Cydonia. This track is called stomp, and stomping rhythms is what you get! This one is really heavy, as usual when Psaras is involved. Track 7 is a track they have made alone. Very dark and stumpy with some nice psychedelic sounds. A scary sound picture. Track 8 is a track they made together with Serge Souque, most known as The Antidote and Total Eclipse. One of my favourite tracks on this album. Those cool Antidote rhythms with some break beats around and a lot of really cool psychedelic sounds. Track 9 is a bit slower, but stumping. I get a little house feeling with this track. They finish this album with a slow track, with housey rhythms.
This album is much more varied than I expected when I saw that these guys was the same guys as Snug As a bug. You also get a few really interesting collaborations with this album.
