Psytrance reviews
Celli Firmi has released a lot of music the last years under different names like Vatos Locos, Soundaholics and Earthling. Now he is out with another album. He has done most of it, but like many other psytrance artists, he has collaborated with other artists all the way. Just take a look at the GMS guys, they almost never do anything alone. Celli is located at Ibiza like most of the other full on psytrance artists.

Celli Firmi followes the modern full on GMS style. First out is a track he has done together with Paul Taylor. A really talented dj who has made a lot of really good full on tracks with various artists. The track we get here is not as melodic as usual when Paul Taylor is involved. Full on power GMS style, with rolling heavy rhythms and twisted sounds jumping around. Track 2 is made together with a guy called F. Maimone. A darker track, full on GMS style again. I`m a bit tired of this style, but this will sure work at some full on dance floors. Track 3 is made together with two other people in Greece. This track is a little more interesting, with a lot of cool crazy sounds and some voice samples. Best one so far on this album. Track 4 is also made together with F. Maimone. Typical GMS style all the way, with noisy sounds and heavy full on rhythms. The track becomes pretty cool after a while. Not for home listening, but something for the full on party. Track 5 is something he has done alone. Not bad at all. He sure knows how to make the full on party sound all by himself too.
Track 6 is much more interesting. This track is made together with Nick Barber (Doof)! Best track on the album. A lot of nice sounds, more variation and more melodic. Nice one! Track 7 is totally hard pumping full on again. After a while you get a pretty cool melody, which makes the track really good and pleasant for the dance floor. Track 8 is made together with Rictam from GMS. Cool intro, with some old voice samples, before the never ending full on GMS sound comes in. Heavy rolling rhythms and jumping sounds. A little more melody in this track than usual. A nice change! The last track is a slower melodic track. Nice one.
This album is better than I thought it would be. If you are into the modern full on style, this sure is something for you. This is not only the usual full on GMS style.
