Music reviews
The differences between progressive house music and progressive psytrance get smaller and smaller, and sometimes it`s even hard to see any difference. The German label Insolation releases a lot of the so called progressive trance. Now they are out with a pretty new name in the scene. His name is Peter Dickas, and he cal himself Puls.

The first track is sort of a chill out track, with slow electro rhythms and some strange noise in the back ground. A bit industrial feeling over this track. Not very nice. Track 2 has some stupid vocal, which reminds me a bit of Element. The difference is that this sounds much worse. This is almost more house than trance. Pretty funky melody, but it just sounds to simple for me. Track 3 is more trancey, with stumpy rhythms and more psychedelic sounds, but still boring. Track 4 goes the same direction. Track 5 is more noisy with a bit more power rhythms and some careful guitar. Best track so far on the album, but nothing very special here either. Track 6 has a marching rhythm. The whole track sounds very flat and boring. Track 7 rise the bpm a bit, but this one is pretty minimal and flat too. Track 8 goes more down tempo. Here you get some groovy rhythms and a bit vocal and guitar. Still a boring track. Track 9 is again very housy, with slow house rhythms and a few funky sounds. Track 10 builds up like a real progressive track, but doesn`t give me that trancey feeling this kind of music often do. The last track is a weird chill out track again. Weird vocal and a weird sound picture, but it sounds a bit dull.
This album was nothing for me. Probably the worst trance album I have heard this year, but as always, maybe this will be something for someone.
